Guess the Rocket
One real rocket a day. Six tries. Each clue tells you if the mystery rocket is bigger, smaller, older or newer.
Guess the Rocket is a free daily puzzle about real launch vehicles. A new mystery rocket is chosen every day (midnight UTC). You have six tries. After each guess the game compares your rocket with the answer for country, first flight, height, liftoff mass, payload to low Earth orbit and number of stages.
Green means an exact match, yellow means close, and grey means far. The arrows show whether the mystery rocket is higher or lower, later or earlier. After the game you can copy a colour grid to share without spoiling the answer. Practice mode lets you play as many extra rockets as you like.
Everyone gets the same rocket on the same UTC date. Your streak counts the days in a row that you solved it.
Within 5 years for the first flight, within 15% for height, within 25% for liftoff mass and within 30% for payload.
They are approximate public values from space agencies and manufacturers for the largest standard version. Boosters are not counted as stages.
Almost 40 rockets from the USA, Russia, China, Europe, Japan, India, Ukraine and South Korea, from Saturn V to Falcon 9 and Starship.
